“Sennen Midori” (Eternal Green) is a Zen expression that praises the evergreen vitality of the pine tree — a timeless symbol of eternal youth, an unchanging heart, and longevity.

This hanging scroll was brushed by Satoshi Higashiyama, whose delicate calligraphy captures both strength and serenity. At the bottom, an old pine tree is gracefully depicted, adding a sense of depth and quiet dignity.
